Today was a rainy, soggy, slippery day. I asked Remmington what he wanted to do and he suggested "buying new shoes for Remmie". So we went to Payless to look for some new shoes. He looked at hightops, he looked at slip on type shoes, he looked at tennis shoe and sandels. None of them were 'the one'. He didn't like them, or they didn't fit right, or they'd look better on Rueger. Then he saw 'the one'. He turned and he ran as fast as he could to all the slippers and there they were, like a shiny new red car, LIGHTING MCQUEEN SLIPPERS!! Or as he calls them, 'really cool shoe boats'. I tried everything to convince them that they weren't for outdoors, he didn't care, these were the ones and he had to have them. None of the 5 other pairs of shoes we tried on would do. So, he now has lighting mcqueen shoe boats that he tells me it's ok to take outside and wear.

That's hilarious and really weird that just the other day we too were at payless and alex picked out those same slippers. Lucky for me, he was too tired to fight with me on buying them.
Uh oh, Remmie wanted to buy shoes in his spare time? Looks like he's been hanging out with Aunt Mahana too much!
