Jonesy says the Survivorman from the Discovery Channel reminds him of dad because he looks like him and because dad can get himself out of any bind. They have the same beard I guess. The survivorman goes out on his own into the wilderness and survives with hardly anything. He makes his own shelter, finds food, makes tools, and makes fire out of nothing. I guess the only difference is.... oh wait, nothing.

this is so true, for example he was just telling me that there was no food in the house and how he went out and on his own mind you, drove to carrs, got his own cart and filled it with soda and meat and ice cream. the three main essentials of being a part time bachalor. i'm so proud.
He's right, he IS rough and tough! Glad to see you figured out how to post. And I can't picture dad with a shopping cart. Whenever Jonesy makes it to the grocery store, he doesn't seem to make it past the bakery. And he'll never pass up a cherry pie, gross!
I got back from my trip, and being well trained, went straight to the freezer to look for ice cream. Success! But then I thought to myself: "Dad was the only one home. No way he went to a grocery store, parked the car, got a cart..." I'm with Arielle, I can't imagine it but I had the ice cream to prove it!
