Learn to pack light and not spend any money.

Have you heard??? We first got wind of it from Jonesy but didn't think it could truly happen--Airlines are now changing the checkin baggage limit to just ONE. That's right. If you want to travel with more than one suitcase, it'll cost you an extra--$25. Plus should you think you can get away with a carryon, if for some reason it won't fit (which I'm sure there will be fights for overheard bin space), you'll be charged for having to checkin that carryon. Ridiculous. Now I'll really have to learn that I "don't need it" on both ends of traveling. Or my trips may get too expensive to take.

It sure beat raising ALL the ticket rates to cover the fuel charges. This way, those who 'just can't live without....." can carry the extra fees! I guess I will be buying new clothes everywhere. I wonder if they pay ME if I have NO luggage and just carry my toothbrush. :)

HA! I wish they'd pay us! I betting though that rates will still go up to "cover" fuel charges. I've already started to notice that they are increasing the amount of airline miles you need to purchase a ticket--even during what use to be the off season. I can go back to thailand for less miles than i would need to get to hawaii again for portions of this winter! lame lame lame--not that thailand isn't a bad alternative!
