Yesterday, Alex woke up from his nap and went downstairs to play, only to see out the window, the above picture...well actually Greg's car wasn't there--this pic is from today, but you get the point: Grandma's car is at Claire's. So upon seeing Grandma's car Alex went nuts. This is basically how the "conversation" went:
Alex: Grandma Grandma GRANDMA. I Go Grandma.
Me: No grandma is in Hawaii. Grandma is not there.
Alex: Grandma (followed by remmi style hysterical panting)
Me: Grandma is not there, auntie claire has her car.
Alex: I go grandma (imagine intense Alex stink eye and he is pointing his finger at the car out the window)
Me: NO. Grandma not there. That is just her car. She's in HAWAII.
Alex: Grandma!! AHHH (does a Rueger scream followed by a Heath floor flop)
Me: Ugh. Do you want some candy?
Alex: yeah (he replies pitifully)
We may have to petition Claire to put Grandma's car in her garage if she's going to be using it!
