Grandpa Jack dropped off a GIANT stocking yesterday that Alex had been dying to open up the box and use. I kept trying to tell Alex that the old man who showed up was Great Grandpa Jack. To which Alex replies " I don't know Jack." Nice. Anyway, I finally got around to opening it and Alex thought it was a blanket/sleeping bag. Why not? It fits. And he is an adorable stocking stuffer.
In other Christmas news. We aren't having a tree this year. Kohi-Monster is just not ready for one. Or is it I'm not ready to handle the Kohi-monster with a tree? Yes. Probably that.
So instead we went super simple (aka kid friendly). Behold our "christmas tree"....I've got stocking holders that I'll place on that table christmas eve. They're pretty heavy so I'm waiting or else they'll become weapons.
I also decorated the kitchen. Just hung up my balls :) in the window, threw on a red damask table cloth and placed our other Christmas Tree/advent calendar on the table with a smattering of pine cones. Alex loves putting a new ornament on each day.

I saw that stocking at costco and probably had the same reaction as Alex. I wanted it so bad.
