Wore it to church last Sunday. Got rave reviews.About two days ago I decided I wanted to revamp some plain boring T's I have. Here's the first one:

I just took some ribbon I had, pleated it around the neckline and sewed a simple straight stitch down the middle to attach it.
Yesterday I did this shirt. I took some fabric paint and a sponge brush and randomly blotted in the area I wanted. Then I took some fabric I had with images I really liked, cut them out and attached them where I wanted with a single button.

This next shirt I did after a memory I have of my dad. He made my mom and I sweatshirts one year for Christmas. He found a really pretty designed, sewed it on the inside of the sweatshirt, then on the front cut out the sweatshirt part to "reveal" the design inside. It made a little "framing" for the picture on the shirt. I applied the same idea to some fabric designs I cut out. Since right now the trend is fairly sloppy, unfinished hems and "looking like you didn't try" in the design of it, I think this shirt is successful. Also only took me 15-20 mins start to finish. Bonus!

Today I'm attempting felt rosettes. Wish me luck.

Ha ha, when you said you embellished your shirts I automatically pictured what I would/could do to one of mine. Wow! yours is WAY better. Seriously, I'm ultra-impressed! Thanks for the inspiration.
