Back in the groove.

Since we've been back the following has happened:

• My parents left. Sad sad sad day.
• Alex got a bike with training wheels and LOVES it. Though he keeps telling me it needs batteries to work and at the store he did try his hardest to get me to buy the $400 jeep instead.
• Leila stands up on her own and will walk with you holding only 1 hand. Just in time for summer she should be walking.
• I've started my plants: summer squash, cucumbers, green beans, bell peppers, green onions, and an assortment of herbs (my dad actually did the herbs). Still to be started: tomatoes. Hey I've only been home a few days!
• Kohi knows how to open doors, drawers, climb shelves...yeah. That's Kohi. This morning I woke up to him opening everyone's bedroom doors and peeking inside. I now have a gate up on the little stairs in the bonus room leading up to the door so that way he can't escape. Makes putting him down for nap-time a lot easier.
• We went on a walk with Hanna, Elena, Max and Rueger. Alex and Rueger had a great time on their bikes going to the mailboxes. Kohi almost made it walking the entire way to the mailboxes.
• It's also getting lighter and warmer...whoo-hoo! summer is almost here!
