Gatlinburg, Tennessee

We went to Tennessee for a 3-day weekend and left Jenkin and the dogs with Rita. CNN announced it as one of two places to visit for fall foliage so there were billions of people. This park was named for me.For Jacob.
This is the highest point in the Appalachian Mountains. Also the steepest hike ever. I wanted to die. We are in North Carolina.
There was a ramp up to the viewpoint.
Beware of bears. We saw a pile of poop and a scratched up tree. This was another hike we did to Abrams Falls.
This picture should be rotated to the right. It's a river. My favorite leaves were the pink ones here.

Abrams Falls. I lost cash out of my pocket on the hike and the one couple behind us didn't bother saying anything when we met up at the Falls.

Half way through. The hike was 5 miles total.
We had to cross a stream so Jonesy whittled this bridge.
Cade's Cove, a 17 mile driving loop on a one way road. We went literally 5 mph the whole way because there were millions of tourists taking picture out their sunroofs or jumping out of the car to take pictures without pulling over first.

I didn't zoom on this. They were this close to our car.
We saw Red while we were there. It's a really good movie. Go see it.
