We've been talking on and off about Christmas with Alex...mostly in reference to how much closer we are to going to Hawaii. But other than that we focus on the fact that Christmas is Jesus's birthday and because Jesus is so amazing, we all give/get presents on Christmas (which Santa delivers). So yesterday on the way home from Church I asked Alex if he knew what we could give Jesus for his birthday (since he's in heaven and all) and he told me "yes, a sled"! No hesitation. Awesome. I love my little boy.
Here is his Christmas gingerbread train...which will never be eaten because according to Alex we are going to ride it to Hawaii to show grandma Jane. I don't know how I'm going to get away with throwing it away (or more importantly, NOT hauling it to Hawaii!)
