On a crisp fall night.

Fall has arrived and the world is ablaze in orange and yellow. This evening the sun was just gorgeous so I made the kids go outside to take pics. Kohi was naked (the product of potty training) and so we had to take some more sideway shots...

In other news, Alex is learning to read! We are using the Bob Books and he loves them. Each set of books builds for the next one. We are currently on the Sight Words set and he successfully read Book 1 to grandma Jane, auntie Arielle and uncle matthew today on his own. He was a little concerned that grandpa kerry wasn't there but we reassured him that he could read a different book to him. It's so fun to see and hear him sound out the simple words and get so excited for reading and then to actually read the book on his own! so fun.

And lastly, I've reached my 6 week surgery recovery mark! Hurray! Do I feel 100%? No. But still doing good. Though I've decided that I should ease back into exercising rather than jumping right back into Dance Central on the Kinect...level HARD. What was I thinking yesterday? Clearly I wasn't.
