This is how I get it done.

I know that by showing how easy it was, I may not get as many accolades. But let me remind you that I am still sick. I haven't slept well all week. And I have three sick children who have mom-radar and know when I'm doing something or trying to get time to myself and immediately have crazy whiney needs. Crazy whiney whiney needs. So there. Bring on the congratulatory praises and love.

My shirt all cut out. I make the sleeves on the new dress from the original part of the sleeve that attached to the shirt since it has all the cute puckering already and then make it small enough to fit the new area on the dress.

Then there's nothing left but sewing along the sides, finishing the edges and adding a snap button near the top (because I HATE making button holes).
